Hey Guys! Sorry I’ve been slacking on writing posts lately, I’m working on a top secret, super duper cool VIDEO for my next big post. If you’ve known me for a while, you’ll remember my bout with Yerdle. Yerdle, was (and is) awesome. It used to be an online platform for selling used items. I’m not sure exactly when it happened but Yerdle became a kind of vehicle for brands to find and rebuy their clothing. They now offer the technology and logistics to companies wishing to hop in on the resale train. Their site says, “increasing profits, deepening customer engagement, and lowering the environmental and social cost of the stuff we buy.”
As cool as that is, I missed the old Yerdle for us small folk. I missed the eCommerce community that had gathered there and the sweet deals. When BOOM, out of nowhere pops up Mercari.
